Botswana Reopens Borders

11/5/2020

Effective November 9th, Botswana will begin a phased reopening of its borders. Airports in Gaborone, Maun, and Kasane will reopen on November 9th, followed by land borders on December 1st. With no scheduled flights currently operating into the country, the only access  at the moment is via private charter flights - various Botswana charter companies are able to collect travelers from access points in neighboring Zimbabwe and Zambia. Arriving visitors need to be in possession of a negative COVID-19 PCR test, administered within 72 hours of their departure flight, and will be screened for Covid symptoms on arrival.
