SAA Updates Flight Resumption Schedule

While awaiting government funding for its Business Rescue Plan, South African Airways recently announced that it will resume its domestic and regional (intra-Africa) flights on April 30, and international flights on October 30, 2021.

The airline also updated its policy on credits for cancelled flights - payments for issued tickets can now be carried forward as credits to be applied to South African Airways flights for up to 24 months (i.e. travel has to be completed within 24 months of the first cancelled flight).
