Cape Argus Cycle Tour: 14 March 2010

The largest timed cycling event in the world attracts in excess of 35,000 cyclists from around the globe. The cycle tour takes cyclists through 109 km (68 miles) of some of the most scenic spots in Cape Town.

Cape Town Carnival: 18 - 20 March 2010

This Carnival, themed "Rhythm, Roots and Boots" will transform Long Street into a vision of bright colors, costumes and larger-than-life floats. The highlight of the weekend will be a parade of five competing groups of performers comprising a total of 10,000 artists and entertainers.
