Singita Sabora Camp Reopens

In a sign that safari camp operators continue to prepare for a busy 2021 season, one of Tanzania's most iconic tented safari camps just reopened, with extensive refurbishments and an entirely new aesthetic.

The reimagined Sabora Tented Camp retains the quintessential elements of a romantic safari under canvas, but the sophisticated redesign draws on contemporary African cultural identity, with a muted palette and earthy textures inspired by the surrounding Serengeti grasslands.

Space for restoration abounds, with each of the nine tented suites boasting a private deck and outdoor sala with daybed, as well as a large soaking tub, all overlooking the endless Serengeti savanna. A fitness center, swimming pool, in-room spa treatments, and farm to table dining complete the sense of wellness. Of course, the camp continues to offer some of the best wildlife viewing in Tanzania, with all the exclusivity advantages of being located on the country's premier private game reserve.
